  13.      It wasn't too long ago when kids didn't need to worry about
  14. their privacy being invaded.  All they had to do was close their
  15. bedroom doors and the real world became a faraway place.  
  16.      With the increased use of telephone solicitation, mailing
  17. lists and databases, camcorders and other recording equipment, and
  18. computer storage of personal information, however, kids in the
  19. 1990s need to be aware of what constitutes an invasion of their
  20. privacy.  
  21.      "Your Privacy" presents a reflective analysis of privacy
  22. issues, from basic constitutional rights and protections, to
  23. privacy in the home, at school, on the job, and on computers.  
  24.      Though Dolan relies heavily on just a few sources and totally
  25. disregards the abuses that can occur on computer networks such as
  26. the Internet, or the availability of encryption software to
  27. maintain computer security, the book is satisfactory as a general
  28. introduction to privacy issues and to warn kids to protect
  29. themselves, as well as those around them.  Recommended for both
  30. schools and libraries.  Grade C+.
